Sent this to Cactus Lending and received this response

Hello XXXXXX,

We do not reside in New Mexico you do. We are governed under the loan and business practices of the internet. The actual loan stores is what's not licensed in New Mexico. We do not apply the fee payments to the principle at all. Any other questions feel free to contact us.

Thanks

How do I respond to this.

Just resent them reminding them that it doesn't matter where they are - you are in NM and to lend to residents of NM they have to be licensed to lend in NM or the contract null and void.. and since they have now admitted that they are not you are done..

How much did you originally borrow and how much have you paid to date?

When you send it back to them with the above info - tell them that you are willing to pay $255.00 - give them your plan and then when they agree to it and how you are willing to pay them which I would recommend by Money Order only .. then they will get their money - if they don't agree they get nothing..
