Collection Agency Response
Date: Sun, 04/28/2013 - 22:54
I sent the CA a verification letter in December. In the letter I stated that they must respond within 30 days, as per the example letters. The 30 days would end on 14 Jan 2013. I have not heard anything back until last week, April 24 2013. As this exceeds the 30 days I gave them in December. My question is what do I do now? Are they still able to pursue this since they exceeded the 30 days or should I attempt to settle with them?
Did you send them verfication
Did you send them verfication letter or a validation letter?
You cannot set the 30 day window...nothing in the law gives you that legal right.
