Does anyone know about this lender? Are they legal and where are they located? Their contact page only gives an email and a 1-888 number.

A friend of mine has a loan with this lender for $300 and has to pay back $1672 which is ridiculous. Trying to find out for her if they are legal. Or not and whether they are tribal, offshore etc.

Anyone? Internet searches turn up nothing. I'm leaning towards illegal considering the interest rate and what not. $1600 for a $300 loan??? That's over 5x the principal balance.
