I was checking my bank account online this afternoon and notices First America Credit took 10 cents out of my account. I'm not worried about the 10 cents, what worries me is this company has access to my bank account considering i don't have any pdls with them. I did fill out information awhile back on their website inquiring about a loan but never signed any agreement nor did i receive any money from them. Has anyone else had this problem? And why only 10 cents?

I would notify bank right away - they should not be accessing your account in any way with out your authorization.. usually they see if they can get away with a small amount and then go after it all.. This is a pdl company, but you did not authorize, so no matter how small, your bank needs to be alerted..

Our bank told us a while back when your account was hit for an unauthorized charge of like $1.19.. that they tell it was from a credit card number generator, they test to see if it will go through..

I notice on their website that they don't ACH your payments from your bank account, rather they want it taken directly out of your paycheck as if it was child support or something of that nature. Payroll deduction for a PDL?

I would say NO!!! and from what I have just looked at on their website they do ACH payments every payday for payments. I hope you have notified your bank of the unauthorized activity. I would also make sure that your payroll department is aware that you have been a victim of fraud.. just in case..
