Seeking Arbitration Against RJA Capital
Date: Tue, 05/21/2013 - 10:15
They called my brother the same day looking for me and told him he was a reference on a loan I had taken out. He most definitely was not. They provided a case number to him and instructed to tell me to call them with it.
The loan was an online payday lender that was not licensed in my state and who i paid the principle balance back with interest and closed my bank account.
I have already paid this company $1000 and am about to send them a cease and desist letter so they can not withdraw anymore funds from my account.
I contacted the Law Offices of Michael Lupolover from this website
http://fdcpa-attorney.com/
They stated I have a good case and I would get $1000 from RJA Capital without paying court fees or attorney fees because they violated FDCPA. The only thing I would pay is the $6 for them to send me the check for the $1000.
Anybody have any info or guidance on this?
RJA Capital
sorry for the double post!
So I contacted a lawyer and will most likely be following through with a lawsuit. I attempted to call RJA Capital but all of the numbers listed on their website n longer work. When I tried to call the 315-410-2061 number that I have been calling I tried to get their company info and address but they told me they were sending me to their legal dept. and papers will be filed and sent to my address then hung-up on me. I tried calling them back and they said that I was harassing them and not to call!!!!! wow!!!!
Turns out however that the PDL they were trying to collect on was Payday One..doing business as Payday One Express which is I believe a CSO legal in Ohio unfortunately. I definitely paid back more than the principal via rolling over the loan 4 times and when the total balance came due is when I blocked my account. What can I do from here in regards to Payday One?
