MN victims of Western Sky/Cash Call

Without saying too much out of line......I have been in contact with an attorney that is very familiar with the western sky financial/cash call scam. He is specifically looking for MN victims -- ultimately, victims from all states will benefit, but we have to get the ball rolling with MN victims. If you will message me, I will give you his contact information. What I can tell you is that I have spent the last 8 months on this issue getting nowhere and this is the first time I have felt positive about the situation! Shout it from the rooftops if you are from MN and have been victimized by this scam!!!

I am from KS and currently have a loan through them- I am a little worried that they withdraw my payment every month but I never receive a statement or anything showing my remaining balance or offering a way to make an additional payment.

They do not send monthly statements unless you revoke your ACH. And NO, they won't give you any information on how to make extra payments toward principal to pay off earlier. They won't guarantee any payment you send in will be applied toward principal. When you do mail in extra payments, they do hold them and apply them all toward interest and nothing ends up going toward the principal. Bottom line - they don't want you to pay off early. The don't encourage it as they state, they discourage it.

When I was actually paying this rip off artist I looked at their website and while there is an option on the website to do this, they charge a high finance/convenience charge to do so. I can also see them stating that you still owe some type of balance after paying off early just to keep you paying.

I know there are victims of Western Sky/Cash Call from MN on these boards. We really need you guys to step up and get the ball rolling in order for all of us to band together and put this scam out of business. Where are you MN victims at? Please speak up so we can get the ball rolling!!!

Ive borrowed 1500 which they took a 500 for the origination charge---and financed me for a 1000.00 at an interest rate of 149%. Paid to date is 1242.97. Tomorrow will be 1470.16. My principal amount has not went down everything is going towards interest.

@ debt samaritan ive placed my name with them...now im worried about my credit...as of today ive closed my checking account so that they can debit my account tomorrow..but Cash call reports to my credit bureau im wondering if they are going to start reporting bad right away

I stopped paying them in Oct of Last year.. I have not really started the fight with them to get off my credit.. if that is the only thing on your credit - I would start disputing right away.. Stop giving them money, you have already paid them more than they deserve.. I am glad to see that you have closed your account.. did you send them the letter also to revoke ACH authorization and cancel wage assignments and tell them that all communication going forward will be via email or US mail only.. Please, don't skip steps all are important..

Nichole - I'm the one who got this lawsuit started and the damage to my credit report is the main reason why. Here is timeline I have experienced (and is similar to others suing them)....revoked ACH at end of Aug 2012 after paying nearly $3,800 on a $2,525 loan, Oct they reported me 30 days late, Nov 60 days, Dec 90 days, Jan 2013 120, Feb charge off with balance of $2,554 (more than I received after paying $3,800) and after 5 rounds of disputing with Equifax and Experian it is now reported as a paid charge off. I have talked to others who have been fighting the credit bureaus for over 2 years over these fraudulent loans. Should you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello so far I've canceled the ach authorizations and received the email back advising that it was completed. I plan on doing the other steps tonight per the link above. I'm already getting calls & emails from them because my payment was due today.
