National Payday - Costa Rica

I obtained a loan online through National Payday based in Costa Rica last year, I believe in August. I was wondering if the loan was legal. I live in Texas. I was making payments on it, much more than the original principle, over the last few months. However, lately I have been unable to make any more payments. Last email I received from them implied that if I don't pay up, they will seek legal recourse and if they had to do that, it would cost me $5,000. Any help is appreciated.


Tell them to go to hell...they are offshore and ILLEGAL!!! Follow the link in my signature line for full information on how to deal with them. You have paid the principal....you do not owe them a cent more!!!!

Appreciate your reply Soaplady! My question is, is there any hope of recovering all the money beyond the principal that I paid them?
