7DayLoan was the first to respond. Initially agreeing to my demands without a problem. However, I quickly realized that their agreement said I needed to call with my prepaid credit card because I originally said that was how I was going to pay. I emailed asking for an address to send payment and this was the reply. My question, I assume I am still in control and insist that I have the right to pay how I wish, correct? I assume that I'm not bound by their terms? Also, I'm guessing their "We do not accept payments through the mail" is a load of hogwash. Most companies don't care how they get paid as long as they get paid.

As per your last email you will be calling.

We do not accept payments through mail; they could get lost & never be received.

Credit/debit/prepaid card payments are accepted; in case you are truly willing to pay what you got borrowed from our company.

Yes, you are in control of how you make your payments - money orders are the best option, I recommend sending them CMRRR. If they want any money from you, they will agree to how you are paying - with a money order you have proof of payment...

Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested.. Green card you get back from post office telling you that your item was delivered to the correct location.

And the only dumb question is the one not asked!! :)

I would NOT waste time sending CMRRR...waste of your money. Very little mail actually gets lost. And lets face it...if it doesnt get there, there is nothing they can do anyways.....legally you dont owe anything.

True, you only morally owe, there is nothing they can do - which is why if they don't agree to your terms they get nothing. so regular mail will be fine also and if the Money order never shows up and gets cashed you can get your money back.. which is why money orders are a great idea - you can get refund if is lost and you can still track who cashes if they say they didn't get.

I only recommended CMRRR - if you want or need proof it was delivered..

If they agreed to your terms what's the problem with using a prepaid debit card? I don't know what terms you agreed to but say for instance you agreed to pay them 50.00, only load enough on the card to cover the payment. They can't get what's not there and you can have a record of what you paid with the debit card.

because it costs anywhere from 3.00 to 6.00 to load the card.plus they can double dip as that can and has happened.the way to maintain control is money orders.btw the OP should be able to change the terms as the illegal breaks the law hand over fist by lending, and how they harrass people.

That's exactly it. . . I want to maintain control, and prepaid cards can actually get very costly.

THIS was 7DayLoan's response to my insisting that if they wanted to get paid, they'd give me an address. . .

When you requested the loan & it was approved; the money was deposit in your checking account (which you had no issue/problem at all).

Now after you got the loan, spend the money; you are looking for all kind of excuses to avoid paying what you borrow from our company. When you needed the money you didn’t care if the company was licensed to provide services in your state/area; you just needed the money & that was all.

When it comes to pay the loan back, you notice that we are not licensed, which is fine. All we are asking is that you pay back what is left from what we lend you. We DON’T accept mailed payments, if you decide NOT TO pay your debt that is fine. That is register in our records.

We gave you the money, you used & simply don’t want to pay back; as simple as that. You have the payment options already which you happened to offer in YOUR first email (remember it was YOUR offer to us) Credit card – Debit card – Prepaid reloadable cards --- nothing else is accepted.

Thanks for your time & have a good day.

refersh me.how much do you really owe them?anyway respond like this:

i'm glad you acknowledged the fact that you are not licensed so legally i owe nothing.given that fact i decided to change my mind on how i want to pay this back.try the gulit trip BS on someone else as there are probably hundreds of people you illegaly lent to and harrassed.i'm not buying it.giving one final chance.either furnish an address,or i'm considering the matter closed.

respond that way exactly.

Glad that is all working out for you - the no address - no money card - usually does the trick.. and they have already agreed to your payment arrangement.. so this should be over quick - keep your money order receipts.
