Hi I have 4 online payday loans and I reside in the state of GA, are these companies legal in my state and how can I get out of the cycle of these loans?

Advancemetoday.com
Borrowed: $1,000
Paid: $240

Mynextpaycheck.com
Borrowed: $800
Paid: $2775

RiverbendCash.com
Borrowed: $700
Paid: $1145

PlainGreenLoans.com
Borrowed: $1000
Paid: $645.25

Any information or direction will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Payday lending is prohibited in GA. All lenders in your state are illegal. You owe them nothing more than the borrowed amount. No interest, no fees. Just close down your old bank account and open a new one. You may ask them for the refund, as you have already overpaid them.

Payday loans are prohibited in GA - please follow this link on how to deal with - all steps in order:
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html

and from what I can see you have over paid on 2 - those you can ask for a refund - but demand a Paid in Full. and the other 2 you are only morally obligated to repay principal borrowed minus all paid to date.. and on your terms, we recommend by money order via US mail.

I received the response below, this is the original poster for some reason I couldn't log into my account this morning....what should my next steps be?

Thank you for contacting us.

Please be aware that this is a St. Vincent company, St Vincent and the United States are both parties to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (G.A.T.T.), a treaty which specifically permits companies in one country to make consumer loans to citizens of the other.

Under the treaty, we are only obligated to follow the federal laws of the United States. We are not required to obtain state licenses and individual state laws do not apply since the federal laws adopting this treaty supersede any state's laws on the subject.

If there is anything else we may do for you do not hesitate to contact us again.

the treaty is worthless as their are no federal rules/laws for pdls.meaning they are trying to buffalo you.respond this way.

i am not a resident of st.vincent therefore my state laws apply here so please don't try to buffalo me.

respond that way.

maybe, but it really doesn't matter as pdl laws supercede offshore lenders assertions anyway.that is just an attempt to lie to and insult the OP.

So good news I was able to get 2 of the lenders to write off the balance and honor my ACH request. However the response I received from the other lender Advancemetoday is as follows:

Thank you for contacting us.

Please keep in mind that if by any chance on June 28th, there’s a payment default on your account, our Recovery department will contact you directly to solve that matter.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Feel free to contact us again if you need further assistance.

Regards,

They are still refusing to honor my request, do I just go forward with closing the account, they seem to not be willing to listen to reason or abide by the law.

I am guessing you got the PIF's from Mynextpaycheck.com and RiverbendCash.com because you had already paid over the principal amount borrowed.. As for Advancemetoday and Plain Green your borrowed more than you have paid back - they will more than likely both settle for what owed on principal, which as stated previously you are only morally obligated to pay back and on your own terms! From what I see above - Advancemetoday.com balance still of $760 and Plain Green balance still of $354.75. You should have secured your bank account prior to sending out the ACH authorizations if you followed the link here to help you with these lenders - http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html - so I would so that right away!! Make sure your new account is in no way linked to the old one..
