I have 2 PDLs in Florida
One click cash : loan $500/ paid $855
Us fast cash : loan $500/ paid $385
I sent C&D letters along with ACH revocation 2 weeks ago. I closed my acct and neither company was able to debit me on the last due date (6-14)
However, i got 1 call from each company saying my acct was past due and to make arrangements. There was no mention of my letters, even though I intended on paying the principle back to us fast cash. Should I resend the emails or just let it be?

Both the lenders are illegal. You owe them only the principal balance, nothing more than that. Since they are still trying to contact you after receiving the C & D letter, so file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

first of all - C&D letters are for collection agencies not for original lenders - we ask that they only communicate via mail or email not that they can't contact us at all in our letters. Did you follow this link on how to deal with? http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html -- Where you were revoking your ACH authorization and cancelling all wage assignments? How did you send the letters to the 2 in question?

Should have been more specific- i sent ACH revocation letters along with canceling any wage garnishment assignment- copying the format that this site provided. I'm just not sure what to do because I haven't gotten any response at all, even from us fast cash who I technically owe $ to. They can't access my bank account anymore and when I log in to their websites, it just says past due.

Did you get a generic response back at least? Both of these appear to be payday loan matcher's not the actual lenders, are you sure the deposits and the withdrawals were from these 2? And in case I forgot to ask - If you have not done so please register with the forums - makes it easier sometimes to find your answers..

Yes I went directly through their website and I borrowed directly from them. Does anyone have a better email address? I sent to customerservice@oneclickcash & customerservice@usfast cash

Sorry I was pulling up the wrong website - when I googled both - there are so many out there easy to have happen.. if you used their contact us page of their sites and copied and pasted your letters right in - I am sure they got them - I was surprised no generic response back since both are tribal lenders. Some are also just slower to respond.. One Click Cash should roll soon and send you a PIF.. and the other will probably come back quickly with you still owe us - $115 in principal - they will give you a offer of how they would like it paid - but remember that you are the one in control of this so the payment needs to be something you can live with.

I did not get any responses either, in fact I am getting the regular emails saying my payday loans are coming due. I faxed the letter to one and used the email form on the websites to the others. So I have no idea what will happen tomorrow when they don't get their money out of my account.

Once the debits are denied, they may try to contact you although it took way longer than I thought for a call. Luckily I gave them fake references and phone numbers ( except work which was stupid).

I sent a 2nd email to both lenders 2 days ago. Followed your format, had big bold letters stating 2nd notice and highlighted the part about communicating via email only and still got one call from UsFastCash today stating they had an urgent matter to discuss with me. I have a new acct so I'm not worried about them getting money. I guess at this point ill sit back and wait for either an email or a call from a collections company.

That's what I would suggest - it is all a wait game now.. If they do send to collections it is just simple to mail them a C&D letter - telling them they are collecting on illegal - null and void loans in your state and why - simple!!

Us fast cash agreed to " settle" for $130 which is what I owe them on the principle so that's good news. I plan on using a prepaid debit card to take care of that.
One click cash emailed once saying they would not provide a refund and since I had dealt with them in the past they expect payment. I essentially told them to shove it and I would not be making further payments and that I wanted a PIF and refund. So far no reply but at least progress is being made!!
