I don't have access to my old account that I was using...it's getting very scary and stressful, it almost sound like every time someone calls its the same person different name.
They call my job non stop for hours at a time, which forces me to pay them so they can stop calling...
really
how about filing a police report as those calls are illegal.also inform your boss and co-workers that this is a scam calling.then just hang up and ignore them.i would never advise paying a slime ass scam.that is what they want.paying them will only get you more calls down the road.do that and don't even think about paying this pile of collection garbage.btw what state are you in?also were these online lenders?just wanting to know.
Just so you know, this is a
Just so you know, this is a scammer as Paul said. To give you some personal experience, when my father had PDLs and they called all of us constantly, it went away after about 4 months when he put his foot down and we stopped them. Just give it time. If you keep paying them you give them reason to call. If you don't pay they'll give up eventually.
Its hard to give it time if
Its hard to give it time if they call my job non stop unless i set up a payment. Giving it time is hard if I keep getting humiliating calls at my job.
I feel like I have to quit which I cant do.
Again, if you recognize the
Again, if you recognize the numbers they are calling from, simply pickup and hangup. You do not need to talk to them. You might also want to report to your state's AG and the FTC.
Which
Which I am (intimidated and scared)
I contacted the Attorney General and report them to the FTC...honestly the calls don't seem like they aren't going to stop, with each payment plan I set up another one comes along...
Waiting it out isn't going to do much as they won't stop, when I don't answer them, or I say take me to court as I said they just keep calling back. I can't pick up and hang up from my job phone as it is a operator phone....yes my cell phone I can ignore, but my job I can't ignore. Especially when it is just auto dialing.
Which
Which I am (scared and intimidated).
I filed a complaint with FTC (which does nothing but leave a record)
I've told the people who call to just take me to court to see if that'll stop the calls, but it doesn't AT ALL, it actually increases the phone calls. I am just stuck and don't know what to do. I've tried everything, but still the same stuff going on

Who is the caller? Does the number show up on caller id? You stated you got a call from one of these companies so if that is the case who did they say they were? Collection agency or pdl?
c'mon
you should be pissed off,not scared.are you the operator?if not tell them to route all calls of this nature to you.if you are then slam the phone in their earhole without a word.file police reports as they will help you as well.piles of collection crap use these tactics because they have no legal recourse.you should be pissed, and you need to start taking it out on these losers if you won't ignore/hang up on them.
If they are calling your job
If they are calling your job it helps to make up a story about a relative falling for a scam and your name getting caught up in it. I know it's a lie but it can really help you not want to hide your face in your cubicle at work.
I kept asking for the name of
I kept asking for the name of the original creditor but he wouldnt tell they just said they worked for a buncha different companies. Yes the # shows up on my caller ID. For example, 3366097636, 9783394048, 7744630467, 9782394048 those are just a couple different ones.
Just tell them you have been
Just tell them you have been a victim of fraud, all of these lenders that are calling you are illegal - so that is not a lie -- you are the victim.. you sharing that may help others to not be one..
Its hard for me to believe
Its hard for me to believe
Its hard for me to believe they will stop calling. One night they spent 4 hours calling my job... Until I paid. I work at a hotel and there no no way we have access to keep hanging up.
