Is Highlands Holdings LLC legal in Texas?

I have took out a $300 loan from this company. I have been paying $90 service fee on it every two weeks since I couldn't pay it in full. A friend brought it to my attention that this company is illegal and has no licensing whatsoever. I already closed my bank account. What's the next step?
