I got a letter on a credit card from GE money stating I owe $1,800. The letter is from Law Offices of David Dufek. It says i have 30 days to respond from March 2. Has anyone heard of them before. they have a san diego address. Yes I owe on the card, but in todays times money is very short. Any advise is appreciated.

what a bunch of hooey.first the part about debt verification is wrong and laughable as if a person wants VALIDATION.that requires more and the bottomfeeder which this place acts like provided nothing,and sued in response.that is an FDCPA violation.so yes a DV(debt validation)letter requires validation,not verification.second unless specifically agreed to in writing interest does not continue to accrue from owner to owner.back to the phones loser.jasgal has a great case here.
