I currently have four payday loans. I am angry and disgusted, because it all started with one taken out so I could attend an out of state funeral. It has snowballed into four loans two years later.

Ace Cash Express $350 borrowed 107.95 interest ...have paid the $107.95 interest payment the past three months just to keep account current!!!
Plain Green $1400 pay $141 biweekly for a year
Cash Store $600 pay $147 biweekly for 4 months
Ameriloan $325 already paid $100.00 then went into installment plan paying $75/month for 8 months

I am desperate. I have fallen behind on bills over paying interest on these loans. It is consuming me, and stealing my joy. My kids have made comments that I am different...not happy... I have to take charge. For myself and my children's sake.
Thank you in advance.

Ameriloan...illegal tribal
Plain Green ...illegal tirbal.
Ace is legal.Cash Store is legal

For the illegal lenders, follow the link in my signature line. You owe then principal only..no interest and no fees.

For the legal lender call ACE and see if they will work out an extended payment plan for you or they may have you go into collections to work with you - but they will - you will need to call the corporate office - explain the situation - tell them you want to pay but can't at the current - I have found with them if you have a plan of what you can do when you call them, it works better..

I called ACE yesterday, and the gentelman told me they don't offer any kind of epp. He said that I can go into an installment plan, which will still accrue interest...$75 for ever $100.00!! He said that he doesn't know what my options are if the loan goes into default. I don't want any additional interest, penalities, late fees to be added...Unsure if i just keep paying out...

The question is...do I wait until I have paid enough to cover the principal on the tribal loans before I pull out and tell them I don't intend to continue paying, or jump ship now?

I had no problem getting them to do a payment plan - I called and spoke to some one in collections - explained to them that I was going to default -what I could pay when and they set it up - It basically froze it where it was.. They had told me when I set it up they would add a 5% fee to it for payment arrangement - but it never hit - when I started my payment arrangement in Oct - I had a balance of $1702.47 amount borrowed and one finance fee. and that is what I paid - I made 4 payments and paid off -- I paid 3 small payment and then paid off with money I had coming in Feb.. With Ace in your situation - I would recommend calling them back and talk with someone that can help like collections and tell them you need to set up payment arrangement - looks like it will be $457.95 - tell them what you can pay when and then compromise from there.

No! with the tribal lenders you need to follow the steps in the link in my signature line on how to deal with now.. You need to get them out of your bank account.. they need to agree to principal only or they get nothing..
Plain Green $1400 pay $141 biweekly for a year - How much exactly have you paid?
Cash Store $600 pay $147 biweekly for 4 months -How much exactly have you paid?
Ameriloan $325 already paid $100.00 then went into installment plan paying $75/month for 8 months- Only owe $225

Here's the kicker on that Plain Green loan...I initally took out a $1000.00 loan in 07/2012. I paid bi weekly from 7/2012-04/2013 $121.42...total paid $2428.40. They offered me a second loan up to $1400.00 I TOOK IT! So so stupid. They rolled the remaining amout owed into the second loan...which I've been paying $141.58 biweekly since 4/26/13. I have paid $849.49 total on that loan. Technically don't they owe me $$??????

Total borrowed $2400 - Total paid $3277.89 = refund you should demand and be willing to forgo for a paid in full - they won't give refund..is $877.89.. You will need to lay out total borrowed and total paid in your email to them when you revoke ACH authorization and cancel wage assignments you may have signed.. Tell them you demand they consider total paid on both towards your principal borrowed... You will need to tell them in your email that all communications are to be done via email or mail only - there will be no further communications via the phone.. You need to revoke ACH from all including the legal one.. make sure your bank account is secure first .best to close and open new one not linked in any way to the old.

Cash Store how much have you paid to date - I am getting $147 x 4 months of biweekly is like $1176 - original amount borrowed - $600 - technically if this is correct - refund you demanding and willing to forgo for a Paid in Full is $576.00

The cash store is a legal store front payday loan place in Texas. To date I have paid $147.30 towards the $600.00 borrowed. The total amount I will have to pay out is 1767.65 (spread out over 12 payments total).

OK - my mistake didn't realize they were licensed - they should still offer you a payment arrangement if you default on the loan..

I had a loan from 2012...and they offered me more since my loan was paid down quite a bit. I rolled a second loan into the current loan I had, resulting in the current loan which I have been paying on for four months yes.

OK makes sense - I would still call them to see if there is anything they can offer you? I would still revoke ACH authorization - they don't need their hand in your bank account..

Any new word from ACE?

No word yet, but I can afford to pay the whole balance on that loan if I can successfully get the tribal loans out of my account. I sent the revoke ach emails to them. tonight. If the loans are due on Friday, I am within the three days notice correct?? Or is it three days from the time they send confirmation?
