Need help with cash in a wink
Date: Fri, 05/17/2013 - 08:08
Dear Lender,
It has come to my attention that payday loans are prohibited in my state of Michigan. Therefore, the loan contract that I have with you, according to my state's laws, is not enforceable. Although I am not required to do so, I am willing to repay the principal balance of the loan. To date, I have received $1000 and have made 2 renewal's payments of $212.50 and 250.00 leaving a balance due of $537.5. I am willing to repay the $537.5 balance via credit card in 2 monthly installments of $268.75 each on 4/30/2013 and 5/30/2013.
At this time I am revoking ACH authorization. You are no longer authorized to withdraw payments from my checking account. I am also revoking any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked.
Please contact me to set up payment arrangements as outlined above
Sincerely,
Marius Wilson

Now they're calling me to collect what should I do now?

Cash in a Wink
Cash in a wink keeps calling. Is it worth talking to them to try to settle or should I just ignore them?
Cash in a Wink being difficult
I talked to Cash in a Wink after they continuously called my job and cell and I told them everything that was in my letter and offered a settlement of the 37.50 but they wouldn't accept it and they said they will transfer my account to a third party lender. I followed all the steps in regards to how to deal with illegal lenders in the sticky on the forum. I got the loan for 1000 and I paid 962.50 in interest. What should I do now?
Wait for the 3rd party to
Wait for the 3rd party to contact you and then send a cease and desist letter
ciaw
When these places say third party collection that normally means your loan will be sold along with many others to some jdb. I left owing on principal to Seaside 75.00, it got sold to some jdb, and this was according to Seaside, for $16 bucks! Anyway, you may get a call or two but I would just ignore them. I got 2 calls best I remember and I told them I would pay them the $16 that they paid for the account and after that nothing, no more calls.
Well they calling work
I asked ciaw to stop calling my job and they noted that I requested it but they keep doing it. Is there anyway to stop them?
There is really no way to
There is really no way to stop them. If you recognize their number, simply do not answer or answer and then hangup. Resend your letter that you will only communicate with them through email period. You may also want to tell your boss and co-workers that you are a victim of scam and to simply ignore the calls.
