I have two online installment loans: One for $3000 and the other for $1200, for over a year. I have paid back $8k and $4k respectively. The larger one is with PlainGreen, the other is with Mobiloans. I am at a point that this needs to stop. What are my options? Can I call them up and say you have gotten your money back 4x, leave me alone?


Yes. You call them up and tell them, 'leave me alone'. You can tell them many more things in fact. For instance, you can tell them to give you a refund since you have paid more than the principal amount. Both the lenders are illegal in US. So, you're not required to pay any interest rate. Revoke your ACH authorization asap.

You have made a very grave mistake my friend. You should've come to us earlier, and may have saved a lot from the payment you just throw away to them. Revoke the ACH immediately and you may call them to get a refund. But what I believe, you may not get the refund, the chances are quite low.
