I am ready to send my ach revocation emails to the pdl lenders. However, I can't close out my checking account until after my next payday. Should I wait until then?

The sooner you close it out the better, is there anyway you could stop your direct deposit and be issued a check? If you can't you could ask your bank to put your account on "Deposit only" status until then. When I sent the emails, I contacted the bank the same day. I had 5 or 6 loans...all of them honored my ACH revocation except for 1 they still tried to put their payment through..twice. I would at least send the emails and tell the bank you are afraid your account is compromised and to put it on deposit only status..then close it out as soon as you can, and make sure the new account and old account are not tied together if you use the same bank.

I agree completely with prissdakat - they can't always be trusted to honor your ACH revoke, you will also want to give copies to the bank! But the best way is to open a new one not linked to the old - move all to the new one now.. put old on deposit only and then close right after direct deposit comes in, if can't get employer to shut down quicker..

I did it! I sent my ACH revoke emails to the pdl lenders and closed out my bank account with Chase. They have it on a hard hold right now, pending my deposit. The account is closed, but they will route my deposit to my new checking account. The manager told me it will not be connected in any way. I'm just playing the waiting game until Friday. Prayers for me please.
God bless and many thanks for your information.

I logged into my Ameriloan account, and it reflects a 0.00 balance. Does this mean they are writing it off, or that it's just going to their collections dept?

Plain Green...it says this:

"Your PlainGreenLoans account is currently flagged as having an invalid bank account number. Without a valid bank account number, we are unable to electronically process your payments or refinance.

Please contact Account Services toll free at (866) 614-7103 to update your bank information and have this flag removed or to make other payment arrangements.

Once we have updated your PlainGreenLoans account information you can return here and process a payment."

Does this means they will still attempt to collect even though I clearly stated this loan is illegal?

I'm a little bit nervous...

Plain Green will give you a bit of a hassle..just be firm with them, don't call them just email them. If you have paid the principle on the loan insist you want a paid in full letter. They sent that email because you revoked their ACH privileges. If you still owe them on the principle..YOU decide when and how much you are going to pay, and you let them know that. Pay any lenders you owe by money order or prepaid debit card only..don't give them bank information...Be strong and be firm..they will fold.
Did you ask for email confirmation that these accounts are closed marked paid in full? If you did, then it looks like Ameriloan will comply you will just have to wait and see
