I've been on this continuous treadmill in Texas on these PDLs and it's time to get off. Problem is, I'm not sure how I can do it. Here's what I have outstanding:
CashNetUSA $1100..balance of $1204
next payment due 7/5
CashCentral $600..balance of $734
next payment due 7/5
Mobiloans $600..balance of $660
next payment due 7/5
PayDay One/RISE $1500...balance of $1779
next payment due 7/5
Looks like I'll be able to afford at least the interest payments on all of these on 7/5, that includes seeing if Mobiloans will push my payment to the next date and reloan on RISE.
Checking to see what my option are.
Thanks!
I should add that I have been
I should add that I have been able to in the past manage all these, but they all caught up at once
All of your lenders are
All of your lenders are licensed except Mobiloans. You owe both the principal and interest to your licensed lenders. In this case, you may try to negotiate with them and set up a payment arrangement with them. As far as the illegal loan is concerned, you owe them nothing more than the principal. Just close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
Don't reloan with these
Don't reloan with these people. Close your bank account and set up EPPs or work with collections for the legal lenders. Mobiloans is illegal and you can pay them whenever you want.
Update #1
Here's the updates so far:
CashNet USA allowed me to get an EPP for 6 biweekly payments on $200.77.
I'm working on PayDayOne/Rise because there is no way I can afford 5 bi weekly payments $337. I've been a customer since 2009 and never had a problem. I'm hoping they can make those monthly instead, but who knows.
Haven't dealt with Mobiloans, but I do know I paid $703 in 2012 in fees and $625 so far in 2013 in fees. They are scheduled to take a payment of $185 out next Friday. Hopefully, I can get them to agree to let me pay the $415 of the balance after that.
Mobiloans you want to follow
Mobiloans you want to follow the link in my signature on how to deal with - all steps - you have paid $1328 - how much originally borrowed?
Well I've borrowed then paid
Well I've borrowed then paid off and borrowed and paid off, etc. etc. Currently I have a principal balance of $600, but with their fees it's currently $725. In 2013, I've paid $625 in fees to them but I highly doubt they will PIF. I did email them an ACH revoke and where I need to contact to make payment arrangements.
Again the question so that we
Again the question so that we can help you figure out what they owe your or what you owe them is -- How much total borrowed - how much total paid to date.. all loans included...
Here's a quick update:
Here's a quick update:
**Sent my letter to Mobiloans today (see thread below)
**PayDayOne/Rise agreed to a settlement ($1350.44 on a $1685.55 balance). Should I do that or let it go to third party collections and try for less? The principal is $1350.
**CashNet USA is letting me pay in an EPP.
**Cash Central offered an EPP of 4 payments, but I think I will pay it fully off.
Everyone here is so helpful and full of knowledge. I appreciate it!
All sound good, we'll see how
All sound good, we'll see how mobiloans responds to your email today - On PayDayOne/Rise - is the $1350.44 what you still owe? if yes - I would work out payment arrangements with them, CA can still charge more for fees and sometimes interest.. from above what they are offering is less than your stated balance so I would see how they can work with you and save money.. The other 2 congratulations on the EPP's -- Glad we were here to help.. :)
HelpinAZ,
HelpinAZ,
The balance on PD1/Rise is $1685.55 ($1350 principal + $335.55 fees). They offered settlement for $1350.44 total. I can split into 2 payments. My favorite is they said I could get another loan under Rise, but I'd have to pay the $335.55 first before they could loan to me again. Before I decide on that, I want them to send me written documentation and ensure nothing will be notated on credit.
Well if they are offering to
Well if they are offering to remove the fees I would take the offer.. can you handle 2 payments? If not counter offer them a payment arrangement that will work for you.. And I agree in writing only -- you really need to stay off the phone with these lenders.. you have no back up to what they are offering that way.. Is this one licensed to lend in your state and they are offering an EPP?
Yes, it's really only the
Yes, it's really only the principal and two payments must be made. I do have to call them back about the settlement, but I am demanding that I get written documentation before I send them a dime.
PayDayOne/Rise is licensed to lend in TX as a CSO. They quit offerring EPPs when they got rid of PayDayOne. Now under Rise, they are only doing installment loans.
OK, just wanted to check --
OK, just wanted to check -- keep us posted.. ask if they can email you something so you have documentation, they are a reputable company - they should be able to comply..

Update:
**Received documentation about the settlement and paid $350.00 today to PayDayOne/Rise. They said I have until August 30th to pay the remaining $1,000 and it will be paid. I also have names of the 2 representatives I've worked with and lots of written notes.
*Still have heard nothing from Mobiloans, despite sending emails and a FAX. Again, looks like they did revoke the ACH however. Next payment is due there on August 2nd.
Just got word from Mobiloans.
