I created a mess and am trying to dig out, all of these seem to be illegal in SC and I sent my letters today, I am afraid they will come after me but this site has made me feel better, and advice on these is appreciated.

Make sure you close your account. you have paid the principal on alot of these, so you don't owe them anything.. you should pay the principal on the remaining loans..hopefully they will work with you..just make sure further payments to them are by money order or pre paid debit card only..don't give out new account information. any you have overpaid on you can ask for a refund..I overpaid on all of mine except 1, I just wanted my accounts closed, I didn't ask for any refunds...just chalked it up to my stupidity in the first place...good luck

Payday lending is prohibited in SC. That means all of the above mentioned pdl companies are illegal in your state. You owe them nothing more than the principal. Ask them for a refund, as you have already overpaid them. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. Don’t worry, they can’t do anything.

First let me say congratulation's on your PIF's : So did you follow the steps in this link http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html - or just shut down your bank account.. if you only shut down the bank account I would still recommend following the link steps - you should still revoke ACH authorization and cancel any possible wage assignments you may have signed.. if you need help with these letters if you have not already sent please let us know.. we are here to help!!

Now the ones where you still owe on the principal - you are only morally obligated to repay principal balance borrowed and that is in your control - what you want to pay when, you lay that out to them and when and if they agree they get their money - via money order mailed only...

I have received 4 PIF, a few others have offered to settle, I just send the same reply that I have over paid. A bunch have not responded to my emails at all. Account is closed, so we will see! This site has helped a ton. I have tried to register several times via iPad, but I still cannot...

Blue king sent me their PIF today, it was a long email saying I owed $1120, but they have reviewed and to keep their customers happy considered my loan paid in full! 5 down, lots ,more to go. I keep getting emails from others offering to settle, andi just respond I want my money back and they are illegal!

After a year I am still having issues with Advance Me Today. Periodically they call me and my work. I sent a letter to the SC Consumers Affairs a letter and they wrote back and told me that the company was in the Virgin Island and they could do nothing. Very disappointing for my State not to even attempt. I borrowed $400 paid by $600.00 and they told me yesterday they will settle for another $500. I asked for a letter and he said they could not do that. I had a copy of the agreement I signed.They are harassing my work and it is really embarrassing. Will they ever go away??

I heartily do believe that eventually they will stop. Just keep ignoring them, this fuels their attempts to contact you. Again, remind your boss and/or co-workers that you are a victim of a scam and to ignore the calls also. Also, if you have not done so already, report them to the FTC and good luck!!

Do yourself a favor....mark my account as paid in full....you will not be getting another penny from me. You are located in St Vincent and you do not hold a license to collect in my state of South Carolina or anywhere else in the US for that matter. The loan note is invalid,dirty, null and void.You cannot sue me for this debt and should you assign me to a collection agency I will simply cease and desist any agency that contacts me. Of course if they wish to violate that cease and desist I will be more than happy to collect statutory damages from them. So do yourself a favor...remove my phone number and go away. You are only wasting your time....your calls are funny, your threats comical.
