When will the forbearance period on credit cards end? Do I have to pay the entire balance together with interest?

There is no fixed date. The federal and state government have requested credit card companies to offer forbearance programs to customers. But, there is no fixed rule. It depends on the credit card companies. You have to pay off the balance that was suspended or paused during forbearance.

Well, the CARES Act has not provided any relief to the people who have taken out unsecured loans like credit cards. However, many credit card companies have extended their hand to help the consumers as most of them are going through financial hardship.
So, it solely depends on your creditors that when will the forbearance on your credit cards will end. If you need any debt help, feel free to call 800-DEBT-913.
