I just want to thank everyone on this board for helping me get out of payday loan hell. As of yesterday, I have no more loans. It feels like a huge weight lifted. I would never have had the guts to stand up to the scum had it not been for everyone here. Thank you!

Congratulations, good for you! I'm dealing with my last pdl. It's mypaydayloan.com (off shore, Costa Rica) and they are the worst. But, using all the valuable info I've found here and speaking with an Attny today, I'm on my way. I live in PA where pdl's are illegal. Atny said that they could not garnish my wages and I can't be sued unless they came to the US at which point I would have counter claims.
