Sure Advance / Alliance Asset Management

Does anyone know much about Alliance Asset Manangement collection agency? They are trying to collect for Sure Advance. I have paid back $900.00 on a $800.00 loan from Sure Advance and stopped ACH payments. Now this collection agency is saying that I still owe $913.00.

It's my understanding that Sure Advance is not licensed in Illinois. Can someone confirm that for me? Can the collection agency collect on an illegal loan if the they (the collection agency) is licensed in Illinois?

i have dealt with this licensed bottomfeeder,and they love to violate the law with their tactics.file a complaint with ms.lisa madigan's office.she is the IL AG.this place has a habit of laying low once enough people complain about them.do it,and send them a C&D letter certified mail return receipt.

So Sure Advance is unlicensed in Illinois? I will definitely send the C&D letter.

yep

in fact it looks like they one of the many who had their ACH rights taken away as they state on their website they are not accepting new applications at this time so yes illegal.
