City Wide

I live in Florida and received a call from someone saying I needed to call City Wide about a claim, which turns out to be from a pay day loan. So I called and they have all of my information including references, but I can't remember if I had a loan with the company Integrity Advanced Loans? It seems like they can come after me for the money. City Wide said the Pay Day loan sent me letters, which they never did because I would remember trying to hide something like that from the wife.

They said they would serve me papers for something. I have gotten these calls before, but it is usually from someone overseas who ends up threatening me or said they would do soemthing to my mom, who is deceased and then they said Oh then your sister. I enjoy those calls now because I know they are BS because his name is not Michael.

This one might be legit as I don't remember two years ago, which companies I paid.

I don't know the best way to verify as I don't want to pay them if I don't owe them?

Don't they have to send me something in writing (not be served for court) if I request it?

who is CITY WIDE?btw yes integrity is illegal in FL,and just about everywhere else.nobody calls ahead to state they will serve you.that is a classic scare tactic.let me look into this city wide,and i'll be back.

i googled city wide collection,and got alot of complaints on 800notes.i wouldn't worry.in fact report this city wide to your AG using the name,and any numbers.last thing a legit place will send a letter of collection.that is if they are legit.the threats were illegal,and if you had the loan it was illegal.report and ignore.

just because a bottomfeeder is in the US.they are still a bottomfeeder.i don't get your reasoning because they are not overseas they might be legit.head scratching.

OK, I don't have too much of a moral issue of not paying them, so they can come and get me.
