I received the below email from Hydra. I revoked my ACH on 08/05 b/c my original loan was $300 and I paid back $450. My account is still open for various reason. I know the best way to stop this is to close my account. Right now, I cannot.

Do I contact this company? Phone or email? I don't want a lawsuit, but at the same time I've already overpaid this stupid loan.

HELP!

respond this way to hydrafund.

go ahead pass off my illegal loan which i paid 450.00 on 300.00.they wil be C&D that is if they will provide info other than illegal threats.bottomline.i will not pay another dime on this to you,or anybody else.

you see hydra is located in new zealand, and no legit place will take this as it is an illegal, and unenforceable loan.do not worry about any lawsuits as again an offshoe illegal.only a bottomfeeder(which this is after a little looking)would attempt to collect on it,and by illegal threats.send that response to hydra.

Since I sent an ACH revocation to Hydra a long time ago, I replied as follows below since my ACH revocation not only applied to Hydra but also to "and/or their servicers, assignees" and since Berman & Rabin is servicing the loan, the ACH revocation applies to them as well. Just to be safe I will email and fax an ACH revocation letter directly to Berman & Rabin and referencing Hydra II. My bank has already returned 6 different ACH from PDL whose authorization I had revoked so I am confident all I need is to reiterate to Berman & Rabin they don't have ACH authorization.

***1. You no longer have ACH authorization to debit any of my account as stipulated* in a fax sent to you and received August 13th 2013. My financial institution has been notified and any unauthorized ACH will be investigated as fraudulent.

*"I hereby revoke any and all ACH debit authorizations with Hydra Financial Limited Fund II, and/or their servicers, assignees, Hydra Financial Limited Fund II and/or affiliates from debiting any of my personal accounts, per federal law, Regulation E, Section 205.10, pre-authorized transfers."

2. it is a violation of Maryland law to collect on loans that exceed permissible interest rate caps.

I expect your full cooperation in this matter

Cordially,
My Name. ***

He says it's useless...and he doesn't know what to do with them. My last letter was returned as he refused to sign for my certified mail. He said all I need to do is revoke ACH with vendor and that the bank cannot block ACH but can only return them if they happen to be unauthorized which I must prove by simply showing fax, emails I sent to vendor. I must warn people that once some lady with my bank's fraud department told me she couldn't do anything about unauthorized ACH and that I needed to pay the PDL, she started getting rude and judgmental ...I hung up and called back hoping for a more competent bank employee, the kind who knows FDIC regulations and the said ACH was refunded... Once also my bank claimed the transaction I contested was legitimate and refused to refund me $300 I then filed a second complaint for unauthorized ACH, and mentioned I'd contact the Maryland AG and The Office of the Commissioner of Financial Regulation... the $300 were quickly refunded! Good luck people! revoke ACH and fight! close your account if you can as it avoids many headaches. I decided to keep mine open but I understand why most people would want to close it.

Seems fishy to me. I've been paying hydra 90 every 2 weeks since Oct. of last year for a 200 loan I never authorized. I have never stopped payment and verified through my bank that they haven't stop it either. I definitely should have though. I still received this letter.
