I was stupid enough to get a "short term installment loan" with NetCredit. I am in Alabama. Can anybody help me out with whether or not they are licensed in my state? They are not listed on the site I looked at, but according to them and their website, they are. TYIA!

Searched the Alabama State

Searched the Alabama State Banking Department website and did a licensee search, nothing came up. Of course, they say they are legal...but just a bunch of BS. You are only morally obligated to pay back the original amount borrowed. On this site, click on how to deal with unlicensed lenders and following all steps. Keep us posted....and any more help needed, let us know!

The license shown on their website says it's listed under "NC Financial Solutions of Alabama LLC". Is that on the website? Thanks!
