Hello friends,

Here's your chance to share your posts with the world. Just click on the “Share Post” icon and let the whole world read your post. The icon is just beside the “Reply” button.

So who came up with bright idea??? Now we are letting these brainless idiots who do not know a thing about credit or collections show how stupid they are to the entire world?? And the fact that DCC allows them to promote their stupidity??

Must be your wonderful tech teams idea. Obviously whoever came up with this idea has no clue about the quality or lack thereof of the posters on this site.

We appreciate your concern for our forums. You've been associated with us for so many years and we do understand that you want the very best for our community. However, we hope that you'd understand our problems and limitations too.

The “Share Post” feature is completely optional. Please note that our tech team has not come up with this idea. Our survey team has found that several good forums like CreditBoards and others are using the “Share Post” feature for promotion.
We are working on the quality issue. We are trying to bring industry experts to our forums.

In our past experience, we have seen that even after making registration compulsory, the number of spam posters didn't reduce. They kept on posting from different ids and ips. Rather, less number of people participated in the community, which is not good for the members. If there are no posts or new threads in forums, then it'll create a financial pressure upon us. Hope you'll understand.

Google ranking is a big factor in reducing our forum participation drastically. The ranking has taken a hit because of changes in google alogorithm. So we are taking steps by implementing few new features which will help us to get the ranking back. We know some features may not be to your liking but we need to implement them for the benefit of our forums in the long run.

creditboards requires registration.therefore the posts shared are monitored.when you don't make registration required the spam can be shared, and how does that improve anything?i understand your position, but i will never agree with it.

Credit boards mods also have powers to ban and truly moderate. We are dealing with morons here such as adamsarthur87 (who likes to argue with me when he makes a totally wrong post) amy.nickerson, pearl davis, ditchadebt, marvelbecks, kate.kelley12, all who continually post wrong information, don't read posts, and parrot each others wrong information. Why on earth would industry experts come or even stay when you allow these morons to continually. We HAD industry experts, all of who left because of the poor operation web sites and lack of power to do anything. I spend more time each day monitoring and correcting members answers, making sure that the true posters are getting the information they need to solve their debt problems. Industry experts are being drawn to credit boards and other sites, where we can have logical order, semi intelligent conversations. I am a moderator on credit boards...management backs us up every step of the way. I do not feel I am banging my head against the wall over there. When a poster continually posts incorrect information, they are banned and told to hit the road. We dont have the stupid pop ups either.
