Thinking of calling Police
Date: Mon, 10/28/2013 - 10:39
Hello again everyoneee!!! Things are going pretty well, I think most of my payday lenders just gave up trying to get the money from me, lol. I've paid back most or all of the principle amounts I took.
.
HOWEVER, NCS (not the same one as NCS, 729 Miner Rd, Ohio) called both my work phone and cell phone today and left a message with a "docket number" and said the "authorities" were coming to my place of employment in 30 minutes with the paperwork accusing me of defrauding a financial institution. I know it's BULL, because I just searched on the NJ Justice Dept.'s website using the same docket number, and it doesn't exist.
.
Do you think I should just call the police at this point? I don't know what else to do. I've been using saveyourcall.com to record any conversations between and messages left by these people. One woman I spoke with a few weeks ago simply REFUSED to give me a physical address to send a certified letter to. She kept asking what it was in regards to so she could "give me the correct address," and then I told her it was a validation of debt request and that I was disputing the charges, she just kept saying "SO YOU DIDN'T RECEIVE THESE FUNDS... IS THAT WHAT YOUR SAYING?." They're all VERY RUDE and IGNORANT, and highly unprofessional.
.
I will never give them a DIME. I asked them to send me a copy of the original contract that they were trying to collect on, and they told me that was MY responsibility. I said to them, if you're collecting on a legitimate debt, you should be able to PROVE it.
.
I'm no longer scared or frightened, I'm ANGRY AS HELL, lol. These people need to learn that they can't SCAM people into giving them money. I can't block their phone number because it always comes back as "restricted." What should my next course of action be, considering they don't have a physical address??? Thanks ya'll!! I appreciate any advice!

File a complaint against them
File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC immediately. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account. Don’t share any personal information with them.
You also do NOT have to take
You also do NOT have to take their calls and their crap. When they call again (and they will), I would keep a whistle by the phone. Blow it as hard as you can into the receiver when you know it's them and HANG UP. They will get the message.
