What can happen if I can't pay back the principal amount?

Great Plains threatening to sue me since I have refused to pay a penny. I have not paid off the principal amount. Can they do this?

You are obligated to repay only the principal amount in case of an illegal pdl.

They can only threaten you. But they can't take any action. Reason - they are illegal. Just pay off the principal amount.

Don't be afraid, call them and inform them that you're willing to pay off the principal amount, not more than that.

Great Plains is an illegal lender. You just need to pay the principal amount that you owe.

Why wouldn't you pay back the loan? Can you pay an additional $100 each payday to pay down the loan?
