Old old payday loan

Hello .. Thank you in advance for helping me. I had a payday loan 6 years ago with White Hills Cash, who are not liscenced in my state (IL) When I found this out I followed the advice of CC and closed my bank account. etc. NOW I am receiving threatening calls from ifferent people who call from different numbers. They know my name , sometimes give a name but no identificstion of who they represent or what exactly they are calling for except that they have a case against my "name and social security number" and I need to call TODAY or further action will be taken, and to govern myself accordingly. I believe it is White Hills Cash, because sometimes THEY call and say its a "courtesy" call from White Hills Cash. I never call them back but they have called my kids and even my ex husband. (nice huh?) I do not owe any one money . Although I went through a rough patch 6-7 years ago with payday loans but nothing since. Can you please advise?


I agree with SC, you can inform them that you're going to file a complain with the State Attorney General office, along with FTC (Federal Trade Commission)

They can't do anything. White Hills Cash is an illegal payday lender. They can't do anything. Don't give any importance to those threats. Next time, you get a threatening call, tell them that you'll report to the State Attorney General.
