Please advise on how to get rid of union dues

I recently received a validation letter along with copies of charges from the actual debtor (union dues). I no longer work for the district (since March 17th). Also, Michigan is a right to work state, which means workers are not required to pay union dues. Although we can opt out, we were not given that option by our immediate union. Please advise.

Pal, you don't need to worry, as you don't have that authority by your immediate union, ignore the letter.
