It can happen under 2 circumstances.
(i) You use US credit cards on your return trips.
(ii) You use US credit card for online purchases that don’t require you to be in a specific country.
if you have a savings and/or
if you have a savings and/or checking account in the US and use credit cards on which you make payments, your credit report and score will remain active. This will help you if you come back to US again and want to take out a loan.
