My credit score dropped after paying off 7 month old account. Why? I lost 70 points

There can be many reasons.

There can be many reasons. Check your credit report and find out if there are any other negative items on your credit report. Has your utilization ratio increased recently?

You must check your credit report as soon as possible. Have you closed any of the old credit accounts recently or opened multiple new credit accounts?
