He's still trying to figure out how in the world UCB could take my state tax without a judgement.

I also sent him my credit reports, and I marked every account that's on there related to my accident. He's going to put that information with my settlement package and try to get State Farm to take responsibility for the bills.

I'm not sure how that would work though. Do you think that maybe if State Farm would give me documentation that the bills belong to them, and I disputed the charges, and provided documentation of that, then I could get these bills removed from my report? Because I can only imagine how much better things would be without this. They will be paid by the settlement in full.

My equifax report has TWELVE hits on it from these collectors. 7 of them from OSU hospital alone. (Collected by UCB)

Jessi,

I am not sure if you have discussed this topic earlier. Are you talking in context of this thread-

Your accounts were sent to UCB, right? Then why OSU again jumped on it? Have they pulled your accounts back from collection?

I think once these are paid in full, your report will be updated accordingly. So not to worry with this. I have replied to your post on credit inquiries in the Credit Repair forum. You can check it too.

Ask your attorney if you can take any action against OSU for what they did. Keep us updated.
