Are you still able to enroll in a debt program if you are unemployed? My spouse is willing to help, is that allowed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

debt consolidation program aims at easy repayment of your debts. Counselor sets a suitable payment plan that the debtor can afford easily. Now it depends upon the individuals to ensure they will pay the installment regularly, otherwise all the efforts of you and your counselor will go in vain.

Why don't you take the free consultation offered by this site? You can discuss your situation with the counselors. If the counselor is convinced that you can pay your installments on time, you will definitely qualify for the program.

BTW, the accounts that you are intended to consolidate are jointly owned or you are responsible alone for these?

What types of debts you have? Are these student loans? You can consolidate student loans of your spouse jointly.

Anyway, I will recommend you to ask your questions to the counselor. You can enter your contact information here to receive free consultation-
