I doubt that hereisyourwayoutofpaydayloans.com is legit. It looks like someone trying to make a buck off someone who already needs help. Look at the spelling on the website, there are several things misspelled. If you want one of us on here can send you the information for Town & Country Acceptance, we are working with them on payday loan consolidation.

Hi Mary
Like I said I'm new to the site, and not real sure how to navigate through it yet. Still learning the ropes.Anyway, I'm 33 live in NJ, not married and no children (not that I don't want that). I took out way to many payday loans, tried to take out one to pay the other, well that back fired, now I'm trying very hard to make it right. Other than that what would you like to know :)

I had to close my checking account because the payday loans were destroying me. Now I have received a phone call saying they are charging me with bank fraud, theft and something else. I am suppose to send them a moneygram by 11:00 this morning or they said they would show up where I work. I don't know what to do, and I don't have the $800 they want on a $400 loan that I had been paying on forever.
HELP

is it legal for me to close my checking account until i can figure out what to do with all of these payday loans. i am in more trouble now than if i just let my checking account bounce to begin with.

Who are the lenders? I will be cautious if it is a storefront. I say, you should call the pdl places and explain your situation. There may be a slight chance that they will work with you and you won't need to close the account. If that doesn't work, keeping the account open is not going to be your better option. You'll need to do it someday. But talk to your lenders first because storefront lenders are quicker in getting legal actions against defaulters.

ONce you let your payday loans default, they become regular loans and usually they will call and make payment arrangements with you. Or do what I did and put them into my consumer credit counseling consolidation program. One payment a month and theyre getting paid off. Again, I had to let them go into default first. at which point I recommend closing your bank account to avoid the NSF fees. Good Luck. I know it sucks, but its a lifeline. Try it.

Wallace, if you would go to this forum http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/forum/index.html and post the following information we might be able to help you!

-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is only one sure way to stop the withdrawals, and that is to close your account. If that isn't an option, then tell the bank to put a hard debit block on your account.

Please do not let any of these pdl's know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!
