Spring is Here

Monday March 20, 2006 marks the spring equinox.
The spring equinox and the fall equinox are the two days in the year when the hours of daylight and darkness are exactly equal.
There are 12 hours of each. From March 20 or 21 until the longest day of the year on June 21 or 22, the nights will grow shorter and shorter.I love spring,its my favorite time of year,it doesnt seem to last very long,but its a of time of peace for me.I love the smell of blooming flowers,fresh cut lawns,and just sitting outside and enjoying the
cool breeze in the late afternoon.Today it is 72 degrees outside and no sign of winter.
I feel this will be one of the best spring seasons,that Ive had in a long time,since now Im
on on the road to being debt free.Not only will I be spring cleaning my house,but Im also spring cleaning my debts.Now I can enjoy it without all the stress that Ive had in the past few years.Nice weather always seems to bring the best out in people,not to hot ,and not to cold,just right.

It is freezing here!! We here in California have had a strange couple of days as far as weather is concerned!!! We even had snow at my mom's house, it only snows there once every 8-10 years. There was snow all over Southern California. It's great unless you have a drive ahead of you, which I did last night!!

Mary!! that is crazy!! But I heard on the news that parts of california was getting snow! It was 82 in memphis today and we ran the air conditioner for the first time--it was almost hot here and we were sweating! Gez, just a couple of weekends ago, we had snow and it snowed two weekends in a row. This weather is crazy. In december there were a few days that got in the low 80s! Wonder when we will have 32 in July? we've just about seen everything else! lol

Seriously Shirley, it has been such a weird winter! Last year when I worked at the Tram (elevation 8500 feet) we had over 12 feet of snow in the winter! This year we barely had rain one time, until this weekend and it went all crazy. I love snow since I don't have to deal with it at work anymore :)

It's around 70 degrees here in Oh. today...It rained like crazy earlier, but it's cleared up pretty well now. :)

But tomorrow it's going to be in the 40's...YUCK!

I'm much happier in the Spring and Summer...I like warm weather. You'll rarely hear me complain that it's too warm. I hate being cold though.
