As some of your valuable community members have noted some times a post gets more debtcc points and sometimes a similar post gets less debtcc points.

I wanted to explain how the debtcc points work so that such questions get answered :D

The points to be awarded for a post are determined by a software/algorithm and not by hand.

The software/algorithm looks at the following factors to decide how many points to give:
* The history of other posts made by that author.
* How helpful other people are finding posts made by that author.
* More time a person spends reading your advice, the software/algorithm considers it to be more helpful to the user.
* Duplicate content
* Amount of content in that whole topic.

My personal advice to everyone who asks me these questions is, keep helping the other users and don't worry about the points. The points will take care of themselves. :D

Our community is getting stronger everyday. Thanks once again to every one of you.

Regards
Vikas

Please allow at least 72 hours for them to respond to your request. At times it may take longer, but they'll usually notify you.

Sending it paypal is usually the most convienant. If you've registered with paypal, once DCCare sends the money through, it should be in your account. Usually having a verified account your money gets sent over quicker, and isn't held up by Paypal, who verifies the check sent from DCCare. From there, you can have the money deposited into your checking account which takes 3 days, because it has to go through the Federal Reserve.

At this time, I believe paper checks are only being issued when you have $500 you're wanting.

I hope this answers your questions. Please be patient, as Vikas and the rest of the crew get super busy at times.

Regards-
Mike
