I received a call this morning from Mr. Maurer. He says he was calling from Pre-legal Security Systems on behalf of Payday To Go. Anyway, I asked him for a telephone number so my attorney can call him, all he would give was a fax number. He said that he will be contacting my employer to subpeona them so I can have my wages garnished. So I informed him, I live in Texas they only garnish student loans,IRS and child support. So he told me he would go after my assets. I need to send him a letter but i have no address to put on the fax.
Isnt he required to give me a phone number if i ask for one?

It's sad to know that the collection agencies are required to do so many things under the laws but they don't do so. This company is not listed with the BBB otherwise, I would have asked you to search their address in the BBB website.

Call one of the credit bureaus and see if you can get the mailing address from them. Usually, all the credit companies as well as the collection agencies are entered in their system. So, you can give a try by calling the CRA toll free number.
