Today is my big day, I have changed checking accounts, and the payday loans should start calling and I'm ready to settle with them...however I called T&C to help me, and they don't work wtih North Carolina residents. Does anyone have another reputable company that can help me? I'd really rather have a company help me who has experience with this than just dealing with them alone. Ideas?

Ut oh! I am in NC too! I was just recommended to T&C but looks like I should follow your post.

I was planning to close my checking before next pay day and go for it....but I can't have these people calling my work.

Any help is much appreciated and thank you sue for letting me know this in advance!

I will always suggest you to call your lenders first and arrange a payment plan directly with them. Explain your financial problems to them and reassure that you won't miss the payments if a lower pay off is arranged. Offer a realistic plan so that you don't default on it. The companies will always like to have their money back from the consumers. So, keep insisting until they are ready to work with you.

If nothing works, you can try BHR and associates also. Look for them in the internet and you will get some helpful information.
