Has anyone here ever used or heard of Lawgistix before. I am thinking about joining there program. I have not been able to find one negative report on any website about them.

I am also thinking about asking them to settle my Mom's debts. I will definitely check out the Better Business Bureau website. Thanks! If anyone hears anything helpful to know before I sign up I would appreciate it.

Did you ever get a straight answer about using Lawgistix as a debt settlement company?

stmd

Read the terms when signing with a settlement company. A debt settlement program involves lot of time and perseverance. You must regularly send your monthly payments to the new account so that money can be sent to the creditors directly after the negotiation has been confirmed.

I have warrants coming out my backside, these people take way too long to do anything about this. please don't use this company.

The heck with it. my email address is: email address removed as per forum rules - Mike I will not post anything outwardly on here in public. If you email me I will tell you my experiences with this company. Of course this is my situation and yours may not be this way...

Ok, fine, remove the address but I can tell you that I signed up with this company lawgistix in oct of 2005 with 27 accounts filled with promises...fine. here i am, june 2006......received 3 warrants in debt and two letters of arbitration from another creditor. I had to settle my own debt with citibank because this creditor does NOT talk to a third party company. BE CAREFUL...........if you think your going to sign up and they are going to take care of things so you don't get warrant in debts from YOUR courthouse, your very sadly mistaken. I paid in over $1600 which was used for service fees. customer service once you sign up is not real quick to answer you. I had to wait almost three weeks after I received my warrant in debt with citibank before anyone from legal department would help me, then i had to negotiate my own settlement...halfway through all this mess I had dead silence from my rep and had to finish the deal myself!

Are they so overloaded with clients? probably. and i'm not saying NOT to use their services....I'm only telling you my experiences with them. I can not get them to answer me and I just turned it in to the BBB to GET them to answer me. If anyone has a question they may ask me here, and again, this is MY personal experience with them and I'm not telling you NOT to sign up or stop using them, just BE CAREFUL if you do!

Thanx Terry! You helped me make up my mind. I just spoke to them and there was A LOT of fishy non-sensical statements made. Like we will coach you with Citibank??? Then why do I need you? And why am I paying you for Non Guaranteed settlements that I have to handle duh! I would rather get 2 extra jobs to pay off my debt then be taken on the Ride this Company would take me.........too high a price to ruin everything for, I mean it just sounds too "easy" and they get paid A LOT whether they get you a settlement or not! Terry thanx again!

Your very welcome..........you need to read my post that is up there now about settlement companies and arbitration because now I have THAT battle.

Lawgistix use to handle citibank but now citibank doesn't deal with third party companies....they will only deal with the debtor. it's the same with consolidation programs, they won't accept any other company debt con. programs either. The thing is, they are getting tougher and will the rest of the creditors follow??? probably in future.

I'm in so much trouble that now i have to declare bankruptcy which is what I was trying to avoid.
