I feel like I'm making some progress in the debt war, so to celebrate I turned my answering machine back on, only to be rewarded with a brand new caller..nacs 9011, phone number 727-287-1913. These people called three times while I was at work today. twice they left heavy breathing and banging noises on the machine, the third time someone left a message that gave me bad memories..It sounded like the voice of one of the ICS or Interim cash guys. I called it back, no answer. They called again a little while ago, and guess what!?! Even with my shaky credit they have an unsecured credit card for me! And to think..I qualify for $2500. All I have to do is give them my ssn and bank account info! They just didn't understand why I turned them down. I did a search on the #, I found a thread in a forum somewhere devoted to it. How do these people get our numbers? Anyone else get these guys calling them?

To assume with out facts that a person is working 1st shift hours automatically sounds very much like an irrational thought process in this current day of 24 hour work opportunities.

As you pointed out they are attempting to work out their debt not avoid it.

This is a country where a person is entitled to their own opinion but that same entitlement does not endorse rudeness and hostility which was the impression that I recieved from your choice of words and their presentation.

I fail to see where your time was productive for anything by this rude gesture and perhaps you should evaluate how you spend your own time but then that is only my humble opinion.

Tim

The all-knowing guest wants to slam people that are trying to get past their difficult debt problems. Some may be working scams, but how can a person who views a day worth of posts (who really has that kind of time?) be so omniscient about what these people are all about?

The ipaymybills person is using the same post on different threads on this forum. He/she should be banned from posting! He /she is very rude. We are on this forum to give and receive advice not to slam people for trying to do the right thing. Please ban this rude person from posting. He copies and pastes this same post to different threads. Must be a bill collector!!

My brother has been getting calls on his cell from that number too? If you find out how to get rid of the person who is calling from that number let me know.

These people just called me yesterday. Wanting the same thing my bank account numbers and ssan. I told them i did not give this info out over the phone. What really tipped me off about them is that they tried on my son a couple of weeks ago. They had the same problem with me as they did him. I am not amazed at what people try anymore to get money.

yes, they have called me twice today and left no message! You said they call at least 3 times a day, right? Well I am watching caller Id and when they call I am going to blow the loudest police whistle I have into the phone, that should do it!
