Wasn't Spring supposed to start today?

Ok, I left for work early, so I could vaccum the floor a bit and move somethings around..

I got here at my regular time.

It is snowing like crazy and icy...I actually had to pull over for about 10 mins just to catch my breath. I almost wrecked 3 times.

I'm very panicy in bad weather anyway since my accident last year...yuck, I hate this.

I'm moving somewhere that doesn't snow..lol :)


I'd be ok with it, but last year when I got hit by a pickup truck on the icy roads, I get too panicy. I could just see my car smashing into one of those semi trucks or going off the road. My heart is still a little jumpy.

I've got my diet coke and my nutty bar right now, and the Muzak cranking here at work, and I'll be here for the next 9 hours, so I'll be ok...lol

Hey all you southerners, we had 9" of snow yesterday and last night so those of you who don't get any and want some let me know and I'll be more than happy to send it to you. We've been pretty lucky this year in Iowa but all of a sudden Mother Nature decided to turn the dial to cold and snowy!!! Oh for sun and warmth. :)

Very very true...lol

My old store up on the North end has a porter, who handles all the heavy stuff up there because it's a bigger store, but every now and then I can talk him into coming down here to help me, but for the most part I can handle it. A few of our Simmons though are ridiculously heavy...Close to 200 lbs. Queen size.

Good workout though...lol And then I can lay down on them after..hehe

Make sure you bundle up. It's actually getting cloudy here, I guess I'm not going to the pool after all! Actually, I need to head to the post office and get all my old addresses removed from my experian credit report. That's my goal for the day, other than not going completely insane with my 2 and 3 year olds :) I have a hard time not having an adult to talk to during the day, so I log on here :D

I'm here on my own today, and haven't had much in the way of customers yet today.

I had one guy come in..Pretty sure he was homeless-to ask if he could have some of the stuff out of our dumpster out back...I told him no prob and gave him my card in case anyone gives him any hassle.

I'll be so much happier when it's nice out...I like propping the door open here at work and getting some fresh air.
