Great News for me! I just spoke to T&C this morning and 4 of my payday lenders have accepted their proposal: National Cash; 500FastCash(which I only owed $175) but they accepted T&C; Magnum Cash Advance and Worldwide Cash. Even one of my credit cards accepted T&C. WOW Now if the rest of them will do the same maybe I can relax and feel a whole lot better. But the funny thing is Quick Payday has been calling me at home and work and even sent a collection letter I called T&C on Monday they called QuickPayday on Tueaday so far no Phone Calls!! But yet they haven't accepted T&C proposal. I hope they do!! I have 4 other creditors and 7 more payday loans to accept T&C. Keep your fingers cross and pray for me that they will accept the proposals.

Good going T&C! I talked to them yesterday and they told me that magnum was claiming that they would not accept consolidation but its good to see that they are. I recently read that First Bank of Delaware, the lender that actually backs Magnum's loans, is getting out of the payday loan business due to the scrutiny they suffer as a result of it( Article dated Feb. 23, 2006). So anyone who has a loan back by First Bank of Delaware, I'm thinking now is a good time to consolidate.

From what I have heard, many of the payday lenders will, at first, say that they won't accept any proposal from a debt consolidation company. After a few payments though, they do come through and accept it. Probably depends on who you talk to. Great news though, keep us posted!!

I signed up with T & C (thanks to all of you who pointed me in that direction) gave them the addresses and phone numbers of my payday loan creditors. For the most part things have gone okay. There is this one guy in particular who has called me from National Payday Advance six times in a row at my job last week. I told him he had to stop calling my job because he was going to get me fired and then he wouldn't get anything. I told him that I would sue him for harassment and he told me that since he was a "third party" that I could not sue him. I told him bullsh (you know the rest) that I could could sue anyone that was harassing me. I explained to him that I was with a debt consolidation company but he claims his company doesn't work with them because, now get this, they are not trustworthy. Anyway, he sent me a nasty e-mail tonight stating that if I did not pay the loan that he would start calling my job again. This is blatant harassment. I'm afraid that even if I do send him a cease adn desist letter, that he will continue to call me until he receives the letter. Any suggestions? Thanks
