All,
Recieved a letter from midland credit management today.
Aside from sending out a DV letter, has anyone dealt with them?? What can/can't be expected from them?

I'm sure I saw something about them, but a search turned up more unnecessary information, that it would have taken longer than I wanted, to find out anything!
Anyway, anyone with information, it is greatly appriated!
Thanks,

Keith

Hi Keith!! I have an account with them. Kinda strange though. It was an MBNA account that got sent to them for collections, then they sent it to a collection agency by the name of Phillips and Cohen. I am currently making my payments to phillips and cohen every month but I have to make my check out to Midland. So for me, its a collection agency collecting for a collection agency. Sorry, I really don't have anything to say good or bad, except that I guess MBNA sold the account to them and then they farmed it out to another agency to collect it for them. shirley

Shirley,
Thanks for the info! I thought I recall you discussing Midland, but I couldn't find any reference to prove it.

Anyway, I just looked a little closer at letter recieved. Shows creditor as being midland credit management Inc Household

Looks like it MAY be held by Plaza Associates, outta
Hauppauge, NY. Getting a DV letter ready to send to
them, probably early next week, when I get my next 2 days off work.

Thanks again,
