I have been harassed by allied interstate for weeks. They are calling for my 22 year old son. I have taken their number down numerous of times and have given it to him. Now my son doesn't live with me and I have told Allied this. They are very rude, I have not dealt with a more rude individual as Charlie from Allied Interstate! He said "how does he know that my son will not move back tomorrow?" I told him you don't, so stop calling and harassing me! The phone number you are calling is in my name and if you don't have business with me then stop calling! He told me that if I did not want to call my son and give him the message then have one of my neighbors do it. Please what can I do to get this idiot to stop calling me!?

You need to send him a Cease and Desist letter asap!

You can find one on this site, if you go to the "books" section, there is a "Free letters" e-book with great ones.

It's none of his business when and if your son is goign to move back, but if you say not to call, they can not call like that.

Send them the letter---Certified with Return Receipt so they can't say they didn't get it.

Guest,

Try to find out for which account they are calling you? Once you get the details of the original creditor, contact them and get the account settled with them directly.

Meanwhile, if Allied Interstate calls again, ask for their address so that you can send debt validation and cease comm letter. Also inform them that your son is not going to pay anything without debt validation.
