i've received a couple of calls from them, that i should return the call... i do have an overseas credit card debt, nothing here that i know of... if i want to find out what they're calling about, what information should i give them.

You shouldn't give them much information at all. Make them prove to YOU why you owe them money. Have them tell YOU all the information, not the other way around. No need to give out your SSN and such, if they have it, they can confirm it with you. Just my opinion, I am pretty careful with my personal information now.
