Function of Credit Report and Credit Bureaus

Does anyone have the addresses for the 3 Credit bureaus? I want to send some validation letters for listing on my reports. Thank you for your assistance.


Kathryn, here are the addresses.
Experian, PO Box 9556, Allen, TX 75013
Equifax, PO BOX 740241, Atlanta, GA 30374
TransUnion depends on which state you are in. Let me know what state and I can let you know which address is applicable for you.
These are the dispute addresses only. The addresses for customer service, ordering your report, etc. are different.

You need to call one of the credit bureaus, then go through the menu and once you place the alert, it will automatically be placed on all 3. Then you can choose to place a 6 month or 7 year alert on the report. I highly recommend the 7 year report. If you have a police report, send a copy to all three agencies.
