Debt consolidation and judgements

I am leaning more and more toward contacting T&C to see what they can do for me.
My question is, there is a pending court hearing on a credit card scheduled for next week. Most likely I will lose, and I stand to lose my vehicle (since that is the only thing that is left in my name, we don't own, and all the other belongings we have are considered community property).
Where will this play into debt consolidation?

debt consolidation companies will hardly agree to work with the
debt consolidation companies will hardly agree to work with the accounts that are under judgment. However, there is no harm in taking the free counseling and asking the question to the counselor. You never know if the counselor will show you a new way or not.
BTW, you can also insist your creditor to settle the debt out of court. You can explain your hardship and offer them a payment plan. You can also tell them that you are ready to work with debt consolidation companies also. Hope they will cooperate with you. Keep us posted.
