I sent a cease and desist letter to cash transfer centers, AKA, sonic/PRL/Northway. If they still contact me, what should I do?

My experience with them has been mixed. They actually
work better with creditors, other than the actual len-
der.
I had Two Pay Day loans out. "Nationwide Cash" and
"Cashnet."

Nationwide Cash was calling me twice a week!

Nationwide Cash would not give me an address at first,so I hade to Fax the C&D to them. However, not
only did I send them a C&D,I also CC'd all fax and
documents to My state Attorney Generals office,I reside in Massachusetts. This seemed to work!

In the C&D order I wrote they were not to contact me at home, work, employer, friends, family, and co-workers.
And all contact with me was to be sent thru the US Mail or Electronic. They chose Electronic.

Cashnet settled for only the principal owed!

I think C&D's are good in this case. However, you may also want to CC everything to your AG's office as well, and be sure to put that on everything you send them. it seems to quiet them down!

Alot of times if you are creative it works in your favor.

I told "Cashnet" if they continued to call me I would
fine them $100.00 for each instance. If they called me
at work it would be $200.00. They stopped calling and
settled for the principal only!
