Does anyone know who this number belongs to? I know it is from Houston TX - 713-335-1300

Thanks!!

Thanks! I figured that from the message they left. I am wondering who they are and what they want. Would like some info before blindly calling them back. I've searched and found nothing.
Does anyone have any idea which collection agency in Houston they could be?

They are very pushy and they come across as a law firm. When they called me on a debt of my mom's they told me that they had a case number and she would be arrested at 12:00pm if they didn't hear from her. Of course I called her all scared thinking that they were going to arrest her. I found this forum and now I know that this was a threat and I don't really let them get to me.

According to the BBB, if you make any complaint about them, or try to validate the debt, they send the account back to the original creditor. If I were you, I would call the original creditor, and try to get the account back with them, or send a validation letter, and they will get it back anyway:)

How do I go about sending a validation letter. I have the address, but is there specific form to use? If not what do I need to include.
